In late 2008, Bet the Devil was formed by past & current members of: Next Step Up, Trephine, Darkest Hour, Wake Up Cold, Silent Darkness, Hell To Pay, Mobtown Hooligans, Downtime, Harsh Truth, Unyoung Heroes, Fighting Chance, First Offense, and Soaphammer. Based in Baltimore, Maryland, Bet the Devil took their name from Edgar Allan Poe’s “Never Bet the Devil Your Head“.
